Dear Heather. Our baby was born on Thursday 13.12.12 at 17.49 by elective caesarean section. She weighed 8lb 5oz and is in good health. We are happy to have avoided the cascade of medical intervention that an inducement would have involved, which the doctors had tried to pressurise us into. Now is the road to recovery after the surgical procedure of elective caesarean during which we used the relaxation techniques, breathing / deepening and visualisation to make the process more peaceful and calm to work through. Whilst we were not able to have the birth of our choice we are delighted with the outcome and found the Hypnobirthing techniques invaluable.
